Palm Beach™ Polysatin™ Shutters
Hunter Douglas Palm Beach™ Polysatin™ Shutters are the shutter for a bathroom, a kitchen, or a window that takes hard sun.
Hunter Douglas Palm Beach™ Polysatin™ Shutters are built from a Polysatin™ compound that resists water, and Hunter Douglas designed them for intense sunlight and moisture. Hunter Douglas builds them UV resistant against warping, cracking, fading, chipping, peeling, and discoloring. Inside the panels there is aluminum bracing and resin blocks for strength. There are three colors.
That makes this the shutter I put in the rooms that are hardest on a treatment. A bathroom with the shower running twice a day. The window over the kitchen sink. A south facing sunroom that cooks all afternoon. A shore house that stays damp all summer. Louvers come 2 1/2 inch, 3 1/2 inch, or 4 1/2 inch, the panels hinge, fold, or slide on a bypass track, and a decorative sill cover can hide a rough sill or create one where there is none. The line is available with PowerView® Automation.
The PowerView® App is required for programmed operation.

Palm Beach™ Polysatin™ Shutters by Hunter Douglas
Questions Jim gets
About Palm Beach™ Shutters.
Can I really put shutters in a bathroom?
With this line, yes. Hunter Douglas builds Palm Beach™ Polysatin™ Shutters for moisture and hard sun, water resistant through the Polysatin™ compound and UV resistant against warping, cracking, fading, chipping, peeling, and discoloring. It is the first thing I suggest for a bath or a laundry room.
Only three colors?
Three, and all three are whites, which is the trade for the material and works against most standard trim. If you want a stain or a custom paint, that is Heritance® Hardwood Shutters territory and I will bring those samples too.
What do they feel like up close?
Solid. Hunter Douglas braces the panels with interior aluminum and resin blocks. I hand you a full size sample at the free in-home consultation, because holding a shutter is the only honest way to judge one.
The next step
See Palm Beach™ Shutters in your own windows.
A photograph can only tell you so much. Jim brings the real Hunter Douglas samples to your home, holds them in your own windows, and shows you how they behave in your light. The consultation is free, and you get an honest installed price at your kitchen table.
